We aim to provide a positive atmosphere and stimulating learning environment in which our pupils can thrive and become confident lifelong learners. It is our belief that they can achieve success through both traditional and new innovative approaches to education.
At Bond we are following the Collins Science Curriculum. Year 2 and Year 6 will be following old curriculum until 2015.
RE should be taught to all pupils, except for those withdrawn at the wish of their parents.
Through our creative curriculum we aim to offer relevant and practical real life learning experiences. Each year group study specific topics per term and this topic can often include a related trip.
Community and environmental involvement
As a school we enjoy getting involved with local community activities and encourage the children to explore the environment around them. In the classroom we have integrated environmental issues into our curriculum.
We are involved with Groundwork Merton, Chef School, Sustainable Merton, Raising Trout for the River Wandle, Hatching Eggs for Deen City Farm and many many more.
